‘Karabakh Armenians have the right to return’: Decottignies responds to Baku’s envoy in Amsterdam

Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh have the right to return, French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies said in a post on X, responding to the Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Netherlands, Rahman Mustafayev, who expressed dissatisfaction that Decottignies quoted the host of France 2 TV channel, who, at the opening of the Paris Olympics, mentioned the loss of Artsakh and its seizure by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

Decottignies reminded Mustafayev of the legal rights of Artsakh Armenians enshrined by the International Court of Justice. “And the court’s decisions are binding,” he added.
