Dmitry Peskov: The Kremlin is concerned about the tension between Baku and Yerevan
The Kremlin is concerned about the tension between Baku and Yerevan, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
“We are concerned that the tension is not subsiding and in some areas is even on the increase,” Peskov said.
Peskov stressed that Russia would remain a reliable guarantor of security. He added that Russia would stay in contact with both Yerevan and Baku.
“Of course, we call on both sides to exercise restraint and comply with the trilateral documents signed 2 years ago, taking into account, of course, the new realities that have emerged since then,” he said.
