Iran lifts ban on flights to Armenia and Azerbaijan

Iran lifted the ban on flights to Armenia and Azerbaijan, the ISNA news agency reported.

“When there were reports of the outbreak of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh, we suspended all flights. Today it became known about the ceasefire, so flights would be resumed,” the representative of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran said.

Earlier, Head of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran, Mohammad Mohammadi Bakhsh, announced that on Tuesday the agency sent a NOTAM to the flight crew prohibiting flights between Iran, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
