The first session of the Armenian-Turkish joint water resources commission is held in Yerevan

A session of the Armenian-Turkish standing committees on transboundary water resource management, covering the “Operation of the Sardarapat Regulator” and “Operation of the Akhuryan Reservoir” projects, was held for the first time at the border crossing point between the Republic of Armenia and Turkey, and subsequently at the administrative building of Jarar CJSC. The announcement was made by the Water Committee.
During the meeting, Tigran Vardanyan, Director of Jarar CJSC, noted that the documents signed had been drawn up on mutually beneficial terms.
It was also noted that a number of important agreements were reached in the course of the session.
