The Salta Symphony Orchestra of Argentina has honored renowned Armenian oboist Maestro Saro Danielian for his more than twenty years of service and artistic contribution.

Since joining the orchestra in March 2002, Danielian has left an indelible mark on the symphonic ensemble not only with his musical skills but also with his dedication to the orchestra and the cultural community of Salta.

Born in Yerevan and living in Argentina, the musician has been with the orchestra for 23 years. In addition to the oboe, he also plays the duduk, which has been warmly welcomed by the local audience. With each performance, the maestro manages to attract the listeners’ attention more and more and to convey the essence of Armenian music to each of them.

“Now I am constantly asked to play the duduk during my concerts,” the maestro told Diario Armenia.
