Armenian church being built in Russian city of Nakhodka

The Armenian church is being built in the Russian city of Nakhodka, Primorsky Krai.
On October 27, the senior priest of the Armenian Church of St. George the Victorious (Surb Gevorg) in Vladivostok, Artak Sultanyan, and the chair of the local Armenian community, Harutyun Avetyan, visited the Russian city of Nakhodka.
Accompanied by members of the community, they got acquainted with the progress of the construction of the Armenian church, which began in 2021.
The inauguration of the church is planned to be held in 2024.
Armenians have lived in Nakhodka since the early 20th century. Nowadays, more than 1,000 Armenians live there.
